These products were developed for telecommunication applications, and other applications involving LiNbO3 E/O-amplitude modulators. The modulator bias controller locks LiNbO3 to the desired working points, such as Null, Peak, Quad (Linear) points. Mini-MBC-1 is developed for analogue applications. This is a full function LN modulator bias controller designed for analog applications. It can lock modulator to Peak, Null, Quad+, Quad-. The working point can be selected on the board by changing jumper positions. It has access to Photo-detector integrated in the modulator. Mini-MBC-1B is designed for high extinction ratio operation. Its small pilot tone does not interfere the system, can reach 50dB extinction ratio as long as the modulator allows.
