Technology
YY Labs has strong
capability to develop optical and electrical modules, subsystems and
instruments, including:
Single-Shot
Scope for electrical transient signal measurement
YY Labs' Single-Shot Scope is based on optical fiber technology. It captures
an electrical single-shot transient signal and converts it into a single-shot
transient optical signal. Then, it uses an optical fiber recirculating loop
to transform the single-shot very short transient optical signal into a
repetitive signal. The user can use a sampling scope or other correlator to
retrieve the original electrical single-shot transient signal. The instrument
has two channels, which can simultaneously capture and measure two
single-shot signals. The Single-Shot Scope functions as a front end for a
sampling oscilloscope. The frequency response is 20 GHz for the first unit.
Modulator Bias
Controllers (MBC)
YY Labs' MBC family provides tools of locking LN modulators for both analog
and digital applications. YY Labs’ MBC has capability of tuning the bias
position, the modulator can be locked to any other positions other than
Peak/Null/Quad. YY Labs DPMZ
modulator bias controller is specially designed for SSB or DQPSK applications.
The bias controller provides control for three modulators with a single unit.
Optical Signal Noise Ratio Generator (OSNR Generator)
YY Labs' OSNR Generator is a useful tool for telecommunication system companies to test their systems. It consists of an ASE source, an EDFA, a narrow band tunable filter, and optical attenuators. It is a must-have-tool for test 40G and 100Gbit telecom devices and systems.
Optical Notch Filter (Optical two-tap FIR filter)
YY Labs' optical fiber two-tap Finite Impulse Filter (FIR) is developed for Synchrotron Radiation Storage Ring users to filter out the revolution frequency contained in the beam signals. It has features of high frequency response, low loss and compact size.
